Nice to meet you!
Hi! I’m Megan the Balloon Princess, owner of UP Balloons. I twisted my first balloon in October of 2014 and I’ve been making balloon art in the UP since I moved here in mid-2018 … minus the years Covid stopped all gatherings and parties.
I started with simple things for kids, like fairy wings and unicorns, dragons, swords, frogs and more, and I love bringing this art to birthday parties, picnics, fairs and festivals. I’m mostly self-taught and have watched hours and hours of youtube videos.
After moving to Marquette, I learned to make beautiful and classy balloon decorations. I’ve been able to make many for bridal showers, graduations, grand openings through the years. It’s so nice to see all the colors come together into something so big and fun.
As lovely as a balloon display is, however, my absolute favorite thing to do is create monsters, giant sculptures of weird creatures. I also delight in balloon flowers. A weird combination, I know, but I love it, and I love being able to share this passion with others.
This is Dylan, my self-proclaimed “lady-in-waiting.” We met at a company picnic where I once worked; she sat down next to me and made a crocodile and we’ve been friends ever since. She and a couple others are helping UP Balloons help you have the best experience ever.
